Royal Columbian Hospital, New Westminster is a Clinical Academic Campus of the UBC Faculty of Medicine. Planning for $800 million expansion is underway. RCH is only 15 minutes from Vancouver, and is on the Skytrain Line

  • Elective Rotations: Core Rotations, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Early Psychosis Intervention, Telepsychiatry, Psychiatric Education, General Outpatient, Community Mental Health Team
  • Size: 30 beds (inpatient), 3 beds (emergency psychiatry), 65 beds (tertiary psychiatric rehabilitation campus of 3 buildings linked to hospital)

Peace Arch Hospital, White Rock

  • Core Rotations: PGY1, PGY2 (Adult Inpatient/Outpatient) by arrangement, Geriatric Psychiatry, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (Outpatient)
  • Elective Rotations: By arrangement
  • Size: 11 beds (psychiatric inpatient), 20 beds (tertiary acute psychogeriatric facility opening in summer 2011)
